Job Summary:

TruColors is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, vendor payments, customer collections, and inventory accounting. Candidates with experience in garment manufacturing, textiles, or trading companies will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Manage day-to-day accounting, ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

·        Handle GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance activities.

·        Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections.

·        Maintain inventory accounting for fabrics, accessories, and finished garments.

·        Reconcile stock records with warehouse and purchase records.

·        Track production costs, material expenses, and inventory discrepancies.

·        Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, and outstanding payment reports.

·        Coordinate with HR for payroll accounting, salary payments, and employee reimbursements.

·        Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal departments.

·        Ensure accurate financial records and timely completion of monthly and annual accounts.

Qualifications & Experience:

·        Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accounting (B.Com preferred).

·        4–7 years of relevant accounting experience.

·        Practical knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and financial reporting.

·        Experience in inventory accounting and vendor management is preferred.

·        Experience in garment manufacturing, textiles, or trading is an added advantage.

Required Skills:

·        Proficiency in Tally Prime or equivalent accounting software.

·        Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.

·        Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.

·        Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

·        Good communication and coordination skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·        Accuracy of accounting records and reconciliations.

·        Timely completion of statutory compliance activities.

·        Effective management of vendor payments and customer receivables.

·        Accurate inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.

·        Timely submission of monthly MIS and financial reports.

Preferred Candidate:

A candidate with experience in manufacturing or garment-related businesses who can independently manage accounting operations, inventory records, taxation, and financial reporting.
